Resize images online

Resize by width, height or percentage while always keeping the aspect ratio. In batches, and nothing leaves your device.

Choose your images or drop them here

JPG · PNG · WebP · GIF · BMP — or paste with Ctrl+V

100% local processing: no image is ever uploaded to any server.

Pick the mode that suits you: fit to width (1200 px covers most web layouts), fit to height or scale by percentage. The other dimension is calculated automatically so the image is never distorted, and the output filename includes the final dimensions (photo-1200x800.webp).

Resizing is the biggest possible size saving: a 6000 px camera photo reduced to 1200 px weighs about 25 times less, before even touching compression quality.

Frequently asked questions

Will the image get distorted?

No. The original aspect ratio is always kept: you set one dimension (or a percentage) and the other is calculated automatically.

Can I resize several images at once?

Yes. The same setting applies to all of them: for example, “width 1200 px” resizes every image to that width with proportional height, downloadable as a ZIP.

Can I upscale a small image?

Yes, though upscaling always costs some sharpness: the tool uses the browser’s best smoothing to minimize it.

Are my images uploaded to a server?

No. All processing happens inside your browser using the Canvas API: your files never leave your device, there are no upload queues, and the tool even works offline once the page has loaded.
