Compress image to 200 KB

The comfortable middle ground: great-looking photos that respect the 200 KB cap many platforms enforce.

Choose your images or drop them here

JPG · PNG · WebP — output is JPG (or WebP if you switch)

100% local processing: no image is ever uploaded to any server.

200 KB is a generous limit: it fits a 1600–2000 px photo at high quality — plenty for CV photos, real-estate portals or marketplaces. The tool finds the highest quality that respects the limit, so you never give away a single KB.

Uploading many photos to the same platform? Drop them all at once: the target applies to the whole batch and you download one ZIP with everything under the limit.

How it works

  1. 1

Drop your images: the target is already set to 200 KB.

  2. 2

Quality (and dimensions, if needed) are tuned automatically.

  3. 3

Check the final size on each card and download.

Frequently asked questions

Is it worth compressing a photo that is already 300 KB?

Yes: going from 300 to 200 KB is normally invisible to the eye and prevents form rejections. The result card shows the exact savings.

What if I need a different limit?

Change the “Target (KB)” field to any value: 150, 300, 500… This page is preset to 200 KB because it is a very common cap.

Are my photos uploaded to a server?

No. All processing happens inside your browser using the Canvas API: your files never leave your device, there are no upload queues, and the tool even works offline once the page has loaded.
